銀座の中心に誕生した「銀座 千両」は、和の美意識と異文化のエッセンスが融合する、新たなダイニングスペースである。上質でありながらも気取らない、リラックスした時間を提供することを目指し、非日常の食空間としてデザインした。
コンセプトは「和と異文化の美意識」。空間全体には、伝統的な書を現代的な視点で再構築し、素材や技法を工夫することで、アートとして昇華。特にカウンターバックの壁面には、和の象徴としての書を抽象的に表現し、空間の象徴となる存在感を持たせている。
壁面のモチーフには、日本文化の語源にも深く関わるサンスクリット語（梵語）を採用。「水」（刺し場背面）と「火」（囲炉裏背面）というエレメントを象徴する文字を抽象的に描くことで、空間に静謐なエネルギーと意味性を与えている。
江戸時代から続く寿司文化と和の精神を尊重しつつ、現代的かつ国際的な視点を融合させた新たな和食スタイルにより、銀座にふさわしい洗練された大人のためのカジュアルダイニングを目指した。
Ginza Sen-Ryo, located in the heart of Ginza, is a newly established dining space that merges traditional Japanese aesthetics with international influences.
Designed as an extraordinary culinary environment, it aims to provide a refined yet unpretentious and relaxing experience.
The core concept centers around the “aesthetic sensibilities of Japan and other cultures.” Throughout the space, traditional Japanese calligraphy is reinterpreted from a contemporary perspective and elevated into art through thoughtful material choices and innovative techniques.
The wall behind the counter serves as a focal point, featuring abstract expressions of calligraphy that symbolically embody the spirit of the space.
The motifs draw inspiration from Sanskrit—an ancient linguistic root of Japanese culture. The character for “water” is abstractly depicted behind the sushi counter, while “fire” appears behind the irori hearth, bringing both symbolic meaning and a sense of quiet energy to the space.
While honoring the rich heritage of sushi culture and the spirit of traditional Japan dating back to the Edo period, the restaurant introduces a new style of Japanese dining by integrating modern and international perspectives. The result is a casual yet refined dining destination, thoughtfully curated for discerning adults in Ginza.
